Elizabeth J. Wunsch

Elizabeth Jane "Betty" (Huyett) Wunsch, 85, died March 11, 2011 at 11:25 pm in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the wife of John William Wunsch, whom she married October 3, 1942.

Born in Joanna Furnance, Berks County on April 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late C. Walter and Reba Huyett.

She was employed a number of years as an assistant manager in the "Tea Room" at Pomeroy's Department Store, Reading.

Betty was also employed a number of years as a candy decorator with Bortz Candy, Lorraine.

She is also survived by a daughter, Margaret E. "Peggy" (Wunsch), wife of James L. Spinka of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Eleanor (Huyett), widow of Stuart Gongaware of Stuart, Florida.

There is also a granddaughter, Lisa A. (Vogt) Plavcan and a great grandson, Nathan V. Plavcan, both of Bluffton, South Carolina.

Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Morgantown.
