Elizabeth A. Walker, 69, formerly of Jackson Heights, Queens, passed away peacefully in her Temple home surrounded by her loving family on November 12, 2025. On December 1, she would have celebrated her 35th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband, Victor Walker Santiago.
Born in New York City to the late Michael and Joan (Morrissy) Summers, Liz graduated from Bryant High School in Queens.Elizabeth embarked on a remarkable 37-year career at Elmhurst Hospital, where she began her career as an information clerk and rose through the ranks to become the Associate Director of Women's Health. Her dedication to her work and her compassion for others were evident in everything she did, touching countless lives along the way.
Known for her bright and sassy personality, Elizabeth brought joy and laughter to all who crossed her path. She shared a deep love of sports with her husband, Victor, and relished attending live baseball and football events together. She was also passionate about bowling, participating in a hospital league for over 20 years before relocating to the Reading area, where she recently joined a new league.
Left to cherish Liz's memory are: her devoted husband, Victor; her children, Raymond M. McEachern Jr, of Temple; Elizabeth Walker of San Antonio, TX; Leslie Walker, wife of Anthoy Mota, of Bloomfield, NJ; and Victor Walker III, companion of Jenny, of Bronx, NY; grandchildren, John Davis, Ronon Sullivan, Sebastian Mota, Victor Walker IV, and Elijah Walker; and a great-grandchild, Kaysen Inari Davis. She is also survived by: her sisters, Eileen McEnaney (Timothy) and Theresa Murtagh (John); her brother, Michael Summer; her father-in-law, Victor Walker Sr. of Orlando, FL; as well as her nieces: Erin Murtagh; Kathleen Grossfeld; and Shannon McEnaney; her nephew, Ryan McEnaney; and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560. Visitation with family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
