Elizabeth V. Ruppert

Elizabeth V. Ruppert, 85, formerly of Spring Twp., died May 28, 2007 in ManorCare, Sinking Spring where she had been since February of 2006.

Her husband John C. Ruppert died October 7, 1993.

Born in Birdsboro, she was a daughter of the late Costa and Anna (di Menna) Marino.

She was an assembler for Emhart Corp., Muhlenberg Twp. from 1974 until her retirement in 1987.

Mrs. Ruppert was a memeber of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Survivors include three daughters, Lynne A. (Ruppert) widow of Kenneth Eckroth, Reading, Joan M. (Ruppert) wife of Jack Marten and Sharon A. (Ruppert) Bruno, both of Sinking Spring. There are also two sisters, Verna F. Burns, Sinking Spring and Mary Arciosky, Wernersville. Seven grandchildren, Jason Eckroth, Jennifer Mudge, Elizabeth Eckroth, Peter Mudge, Megan Bruno, Luke Marten and Joey Bruno; and one great grandson, Kenneth Eckroth also survive her. She was predeceased by one brother, Romelo J. Marino and one sister, Anna Kocur.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. For online condolences, please visit www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
