Elizabeth I. Simpson

Elizabeth Isabel Simpson, 83, formerly of Daytona Beach, Fla., died April 30, 2008, in the Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Charles Simpson, on Nov. 8, 1992.

Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Lillian Zimmerman.

She was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

She was a volunteer for more than 30 years with the Halifax Hospital Auxiliary in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Surviving is a daughter, Carol Elizabeth Simpson, West Reading.

Other survivors include three granddaughters: Jennifer Elizabeth Esser, wife of Morgan, Baton Rouge, La.; Erin Rebecca Ebersole, Wyomissing; and Amy Michelle Sharkey, wife of Daniel, West Reading; and three great-grandchildren: Kirin Thomas Esser, Kaedan Davis Esser and Aidan William Sharkey.

Memorial services will be Friday at 5 p.m. in Villa St. Elizabeth, Museum Road and Kenhorst Boulevard, Reading.
