Elizabeth M. Rapino, 70, of Kenhorst Boulevard, Kenhorst, died of natural causes Sept. 9 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Aug. 12.
Her husband, Dominic J. Rapino, died Nov. 9, 1995.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Hauser) Rahs.
Rapino was employed from 1950 to 1960 as a payroll clerk by Camp & McInnis Hosiery Mill, Reading, and was last employed for 24 years as a packer by R.M. Palmer Co., West Reading, retiring in 1995.
She was a 1950 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
Rapino was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are four daughters: Theresa D. (Rapino) Gelvin, Shillington; Georgine M. (Rapino) Spengler, Lititz, Lancaster County; Ann Marie (Rapino) Stuber, Berea, Ky.; and Loretta F. (Rapino) Kennedy, Honey Brook, Chester County.
Other survivors include a brother, Joseph G. Rahs, Pennside; and 10 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter Church. Viewing Wednesday evening 7 - 8:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Assoc. 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605
