Elizabeth J. Offenbacher

Elizabeth J. Offenbacher, 79, of Womelsdorf, died September 27 at 9:05 a.m. in Phoebe Berks Skilled Nursing Unit.

She was the wife of Leonard G. Offenbacher.

Born in Wilgus, OH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charity (Shepherd) Howard.

She was first employed by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH as a typist. Later, she was an office worker for Periodicals Publishing Co., Columbus, OH and finally for Columbus Gas Co., Columbus, OH.

Elizabeth was a member of Myerstown Baptist Church.

She is also survived by two sons, T. Gene Offenbacher, Phoenixville and D. Randall Offenbacher, Wernersville and one daughter, Treva (Offenbacher) McGregor, San Antonio, TX. Other survivors include one brother, Joseph Howard, Springfield, OH and one sister, Edna (Howard) Tagg, Springfield, OH. There are also 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
