Elizabeth H. Moretta

Elizabeth Helen (Parenti) Moretta, 92, of Reading, died February 10, 2007 at 12:30 pm in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been a patient since October 2, 2006.

She was the wife of Alex Moretta, whom she married August of 1962.

Born April 18, 1914 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Minnie (Petrella) Parenti.

Elizabeth was employed a number of years at Reading Clothing, Nolde & Horst and Bachman Pretzels.

She is also survived by two daughters, Jane V. (Kranis) Deininger of Kutztown and Shirley M. (Kranis) wife of Gus Stevens of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a brother, Nick husband of Effie (Dialectos) Parenti of Reading.

There are also three grandchildren, Charles husband of Amy Deininger of Winston-Salem, N.C., Albert husband of Tiffany DaDamio of Dallas T.X. and Thomas husband of Lisa DaDamio of Exeter Township and two great grandchildren, Dylan Thomas DaDamio and Jacqueline Rose DaDamio.

Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Prayer services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with Fr. Luis A. Bonilla celebrating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
