Elizabeth M. Ward

Elizabeth M. (Kanarr) Ward, 86, of Laureldale, died November 12, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of William T. Ward, Sr. whom she married May 7, 1966.

Born June 10, 1927 in Shavertown, PA, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Ida C. (Campbell) Kanarr.

Elizabeth is also survived by her son, William T., Jr., husband of Jackie M. Ward of Exeter Township.

In addition, surviving are her two sisters, Janet (Kanarr) Lerow of Pomerton, PA and Shirley (Kanarr) Martiney of Florida.

There is also a granddaughter, Chrisann Raymond as well as five other grandchildren and four great grandchildren surviving.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Laureldale are in charge of arrangements.
