Elizabeth M. Sweitzer

Elizabeth M. (Haas) Sweitzer, 86, of 5001 Forest Avenue, Temple, Pa 19560 died August 2nd at 7:40pm in Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been since July 9th.

She was the widow of James A. Sweitzer, who died April 18, 1999.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Cora A. (Reinert) Haas.

She worked as a box printer for the former Rosedale Knitting Mills for a number of years, and last worked as an inspector for Meyers Canning Company, Muhlenberg Township before retiring in 1979.

Sweitzer is survived by a son, James H. Sweitzer of Temple.

There is also five grandsons and five great grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 10:00 am until time of service. Entombment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Maidencreek Township.
