Elizabeth M. Kirschmann

Elizabeth M. Kirschmann, 93, formerly of West Lawn, died June 3, 2009 in Phoebe Berks Health Center.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Esther M. (White) Kirschmann.

Elizabeth was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mills in the hosiery department, and later as a clerk at Vanity Fair. Her career spanned a total of 51 years, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is survived by her brother, Raymond A. Kirschmann. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
