Elizabeth L. Cunnius

Elizabeth L. Cunnius, 84, formerly of Sinking Spring, died January 28, 2016 in Berkshire Center.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Cunnius.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Gross) Hess.

Elizabeth was a sewing machine operator for over 30 years at Kelray Knitting MIlls, West Reading. She was later employed by Penn Optical for five years until her retirement.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Reading.

Elizabeth was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

Elizabeth is survived by three siblings: Ralph, husband of Lena Hess, Flying Hills; William, widow of Fannie Hess, Wyomissing; and Myrtle Corwin, widow of Alfred Moatz, Sr., Reading; two God children Linda M. Jones and Elaine C. Rutkowski. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased four siblings Rodney, Earl and Clarence Hess, Louise Adams, and also her half sister Marie Ludwig.

Services will be Tuesday, February 2, 2015 at 11 A.M. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
