Elizabeth A. Frick

Elizabeth Alice (Schmeck) Frick, 80, of Temple, died January 19, 2010 in Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of Andrew Frick, Jr. who died June 5, 1996.

Born July 2, 1929 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Oscar D. and Helen M. (Folk) Schmeck.

Elizabeth was employed as a cook for Lerch's Resturant for a number of years. She was also employed with ARA Vending and Shellhammer's Race Track doing food preparation.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Elizabeth was a very active member of Senior Citizen's Club of Laureldale. She was known for her Christmas cookies and Easter candy that she distributed to family and friends.

She enjoyed watching and feeding wildlife around her home.

Surviving are several cousins.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
