Elizabeth "Betty" (Sweezy) Ciervo, 100

Betty Ciervo of Kenhorst, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday September 27th, 2017.

Betty was born on July 16, 1917 in Hazelton, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Sweezy. Betty was predeceased by 15 brothers and sisters and survived by sister Rose of Ohio.

As a young woman, Betty traveled to Reading, PA in search of job opportunities. Once established, she was employed by Narrow Fabrics as a seamstress and met her late husband Umberto "Albert" Ciervo. Betty and Albert were married 65 years.

Betty was an excellent home-maker, enjoyed cooking and baking, and loved taking care of her many dogs throughout her life. One of her hobbies was collecting antiques and art. She was the most loving, kind, and compassionate woman. Betty was always there for others in time of need. She was seen as a true angel to all that knew her.
