Elizabeth S. Buvinger

Elizabeth S. (Buganich) Buvinger, 90, of Pennside and Somers Pt., NJ, passed away September 17, 2008 in the St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center, Bern Township, where she had been a patient for 2 days.

Her first husband, Joseph Francis McDade died in 1973 and her second husband Raymond Buvinger died on February 15, 1998.

Born in Johnstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Sophia (Hulpa) Buganich.

She was employed for 18 years by Western Electric, Laureldale retiring in 1990.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.

She most recently resided at the Villa St. Elizabeth where she met and enjoyed the company of many new friends.

Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Margaret M. Chiarelli, Zionsville.

She is also survived by four sisters, Ann Staver, Hershey; Judy Matz, Edisto Island, SC; Margaret Barnes, Islandton, SC, and Martha Gallagher, Boalsburg.

Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Lisa, wife of Gregory Nyles; Julie, wife of Thomas Nein; Nicole Chiarelli; John, husband of Amy Chiarelli; Jeffrey, husband of Tracy Pasquale; Staci, wife of Elbert Basolis; and Christian McDade.

Eleven great-grandchildren also survive her.

She also is survived by several nieces and nephews who live in the Ukraine.

Elizabeth is predeceased by two daughters, Charlotte Pasquale; Joan E. McDade, five brothers, Andrew Buganich; Paul Buganich; Charles Buganich; Michael Buganich; John Buganich and a sister, Maria Velikikomita.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Chapel, Mt. Penn. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Memorial Cemetery.
