Elizabeth McIlvain Bausher, 86
It always seemed, after a joyful hello, you were talking about your life.
If you really pressed and asked, you might have been told…
This is where I fill my heart with sounds of children and beautiful flowers. A place I will thrive. A place I will live the seasons of my life, and our lives together.
Children will grow and gardens expand. At times unruly and unwieldy, but always renewing faith, love, and dreams.
I am here to nurture, to establish roots, to create space for sun and rain. My joy is in the "doing." Rewarded by the beauty and variety, the laughter, and conversations.
Elizabeth, born June 5, 1935, to Sidney and Margaret Mays McIlvain of Wyomissing. A graduate of Wyomissing High School 1953 and Smith College 1957, where she majored in Government. She was a member of The Garden Club of Reading and The Friday Club. Elizabeth the business owner was key to successes at The Butler's Pantry and Canal Street Restaurant and Pub. She created and published Crumbs from the Pantry.
