Elizabeth "Liz" A. (Lynch) Miller, 47, of West Reading died October 19, 2012 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of G. Robert Miller, whom she married 21 years ago on September 21.

Born in Mt. Carmel, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Joan (Joyce) Lynch.

She was a 1983 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, a 1986 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing and a 2010 graduate of Alvernia University, earning a B.S. in Nursing.

Liz was a registered nurse at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 26 years, last working on September 10. She worked in the Medical Surgical Unit and the Cardiology Prep and Recovery Unit.

She was a member of the American Nursing Association and was a longtime volunteer for the United Way.

Liz was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Joshua Robert Miller, a senior at Wyomissing High School; her three siblings: Edward Lynch, Shamokin, Helen Deptula, Oley and Marie, wife of Albert Leibig, Minersville and her mother-in-law, Gail A.D. Miller, Gilbertsville. Also surviving are her seven nieces, her nephew and her great niece. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, West Reading. Viewings will be Monday 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: United Way of Berks County, P.O.
