Elfena L. Neidert

Elfena L. Neidert, 93, formerly of Reading, died February 26, 2008 in ManorCare, Lebanon.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leo A. and A. Elizabeth (Noll) Neidert, to whom she was the primary caregiver for 40 years.

She was a seamer for William G. Leininger, Mohnton for 15 years; later she was employed by Richmaid Kitchens for 8 years, retiring in 1981.

Elfena was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is survived by one brother, Charles H. Neidert, Lancaster and one sister, Elizabeth V. Ostrowski, Sebring, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo J. Neidert and Marvin J. Neidert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
