Eleanore M. Graczyk

Eleanore Mary (Michalak) Graczyk, 88, passed away peacefully in Temple, PA, on Good Friday, April 2, 2021. She was born September 11, 1932, in Reading to the late Vincent & Frances (Kompa) Michalak. She married Stanley S. Graczyk on October 18,1952, and they enjoyed 68 wonderful years together. Ever the devoted husband, Stanley took extra loving care of Eleanore the past few years.

She worked for many years at Berkshire Knitting Mills and Camp Hosiery. She and Stanley had retired to southwest Florida in 1991, returning to Reading several years ago to be closer to their family. Eleanore was an avid reader, experienced angler, and made the best crab cakes this side of the Mississippi! She loved spending time with her family, especially when the grandkids came to Florida for vacations.

Eleanore is survived by her husband, Stanley Graczyk, Temple; daughter, Deborah, wife of W. Lee Karycki, Blandon, PA, and son, Mark, husband of Sandra (Drees), New Tripoli, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Adam, husband of Melody (Greenberg) Graczyk, Buffalo, NY; Jason Graczyk, New Tripoli, PA; Frances (Karycki), wife of Keith Much, Massillon, Ohio; Mary Karycki, Blandon, PA, and great-grandson, Lucas Much. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy "Dolly" Jeznach (Theodore).
