Eleanor M. Sands

Eleanor M. Sands, 76, of Wunder Street, died Dec. 10 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient one day.

She was the wife of Frank R. Sands.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Copeland) Hummel.

Sands is also survived by a son, John Klaptosky, Butler, Butler County; and four daughters: Bonita (Klaptosky) McCoy, Wernersville; Linda (Klaptosky) Sikorski, Reading; Terrina (Sands) Schinski, Mount Penn; and Sandra Sands, Flying Hills.

Other survivors include a brother, Neil Hummel, East Stroudsburg, Monroe County; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
