Eleanor R. Sumner

Eleanor R. Sumner, 82, of Phoebe Berks Village, Wernersville, formerly of Grandview Drive, Park Manor, Cumru Township, died Nov. 27 in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center Inc.

Her husband, Joseph Sumner, died March 29, 1994.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Nellie (Flysher) Sookiasian.

Sumner had been employed as a secretary by Darlington Insurance Agency Inc., Wyomissing, until her retirement.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol M. Sumner, Reading.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Phoebe Berks Village Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
