Eleanor D. High

Eleanor D. (Amrhein) High, 77, of 304 Parkside Ave., Cumru Township died December 30th at 12:45 p.m. in Lancaster General Hospital where she had been since October 22nd.

She was the wife of Harold L. High.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Francis Amrhein and Helen (Kryzanowski) Marabella.

She attended Reading High School.

High was a member of St. John's the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She was a life member of the Lincoln Park Fire Company, Spring Township.

Other survivors include a daughter, Susan H. (High) Zipf of Brecknock Township and two sons, Michael C. High of Fallbrook, CA., and Mark S. High of Oceanside, CA.

She is also survived by a sister, Marie (Amrhein) Hampele of Cumru Township.

There is also four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's the Baptist de La Salle Church, Shillington. Viewing Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
