Eleanor M. Brennan

Eleanor M. Brennan, 91, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, died October 30, 2006 at 3:55 pm in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was taken there from Country Meadows, Wyomissing, where she had resided since 2003.

Born in Reading on July 26, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Mary (Sheehan) Brennan.

She was a 1933 graduate of Reading High School.

Eleanor was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She was employed 26 years as a secretary in the engineering department with Carpenter Technology before retiring February 1985.

Eleanor is survived by a niece, Anne B. (Brennan) Martin of Sinking Spring and two nephews, John W. Brennan of Frederick, Maryland and R. Terrance Brennan of Olney, Maryland.

She was predeceased by a niece, Colleen M. Brennan and two brothers, Jack Brennan and Thomas Robert Brennan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring. Viewing will be held in the church from 9:00 am until time of Mass. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
