Eleanor M. Breault

Eleanor M. (Hafer) "Chuttie" Breault, 80, died August 4th in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was taken there from ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where she had been since March.

Her husband Gerard F. Breault, died February 26, 1998.

Born in Womelsdorf, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Maude E. (Seidel) Hafer.

She was a 1943 graduate of Wilson High School.

Eleanor was employed 20 years as the Secretary to the President at Reading CocaCola until her retirement.

She was a past president of Berks County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Association and an office worker at both Prospectus Berkco, Reading and the Dayspring Homes, Inc., Reading where she also served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer.

Eleanor was also a past vice-president of the Sencit Townhouse Residence Association.

She is survived by a son, Dale E. Wunsch of Alsace Township and three daughters, Patricia Wunsch of Spring Township, Ruth E. (Wunsch)wife of Michael L. Ruth of Brecknock Township and Gale E. (Wunsch) Rupp of Spring Township.

Other survivors include a brother, John F. Hafer of Las Alamos, New Mexico and a sister, Dorice (Hafer) wife of Robert Reiff of Spring Township.

There are also 3 grandchildren, Michael husband of Vicki Ruth of Hulmeville, Bucks County, Matthew husband of Monique Ruth of Jackson, New Jersey and David Rupp of Sinking Spring.

She is also survived by a great grandson, Michael William Ruth of Hulmeville, Bucks County.

Eleanor was predeceased by a sister, Gladys (Hafer) Woodhouse.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Viewing 9:00 am until time of Mass in the Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Contributions may be made to St. Ignatius R.C.
