Elda R. Baer

Elda R. Baer, 89, of Alsace Township passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in the St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township where she was a patiet.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy H. Baer on December 17, 1993.

Born in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Hannah (Gressley) Zuber.

She and her husband owned and operated Baer's Texaco Station, Alsace Township for 10 years and she lastly worked as a School Bus driver for the Oley Valley School District for 10 years prior to retiring. Mrs. Baer enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her Daughter: Linda, wife of Henry Young of Ruscombmanor Township and her Daughter-in-law: Esther A. Baer of Laureldale. She is Also survived be a Brother: Lester Zuber of Laureldale, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildern and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son: Ronald K. Baer on March 24, 2007 and her siblings: Carrie, Helen, Paul, Lloyd, Clarence and Andrew.

Services and Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Centre Township, will be private at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 3713 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, Pa. 19522.
