Elaine Grace Shilton

Elaine Grace Reuter Shilton, wife of the late William Graham Shilton, died peacefully at The Highlands at Wyomissing on February 24, 2014. She was 90 years old.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. Reuter and Bertha (Tegtmeyer) Reuter.

Elaine was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and the Drakes Secretarial School of New Jersey.

She is survived by a brother, Alan Daniel Reuter, Matthews, North Carolina; her two children: daughter, Susan Shilton Mutimer, Sinking Spring; and son, William Wayne Shilton, Manassas, Virginia; and her grandson, Jeffrey James Mutimer, Alexandria, VA. Surviving nieces and nephews are: Nancy Reuter Przybylko, Tampa, FL; Donna Reuter Schaefer, Matthews, NC; Gary Reuter of Belmar, New Jersey; Charles D. Reuter, II; and John Wohleber, Niceville, FL.

Services are private in the chapel of the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey.
