Elaine Rio

Elaine E. Rio, 69, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Reading Hospital. She was the companion of Patrick Taffe for 38 years.

Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Amada Murphy and Carlos Maldonado. She was employed as a secretary for a church.

Survivors include her companion, Patrick, and two sisters, Eileen Garcia and Diane Maldonado. Elaine was predeceased by her brother, Carlos Maldonado, Jr.

Services for Elaine will be private at the convenience of the family.
