Elaine J. Brisan

Elaine J. (Heffelfinger) Brisan, 82, formerly of Wyomissing, died November 26th at 7:45am in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had been since March 25, 2002.

She was the widow of Paul W. Brisan, who died September 9, 1994.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Verna (Leber) Heffelfinger.

She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Reading.

Brisan was employed 25 years as a nurses assistant at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center until her retirement.

She was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School.

Brisan is survived by a daughter, Janet E. (Brisan) Heist of Wyomissing and three sons, Jeffrey L. of Wyomissing, Gregory P. of Houston, Texas and Mark J. of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy L. (Brisan) Baratta, who died June 23, 2002.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
