Eileen L. Monastero

Eileen L. Monastero, 76, of Shartlesville, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at WillowBrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown.

Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Alfonso and Carolyn (Thompson) Monastero.

She was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School.

Eileen was employed by XPO Trucking Company as a dispatcher for many years.

Eileen enjoyed baseball, softball, bowling, swimming, and calling bingo.

She is survived by two brothers, Francis C., husband of Jo Ann Monastero, Lake Tahoe, NV and Michael J., husband of Ann Marie Monastero, Shartlesville; six nieces and nephews; and ten grand nieces and nephews.

Eileen was predeceased by her sister, Nina Clark.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tower Health, Penn State St. Joseph Health Center, and Willow Brook Healthcare Center for the excellent care they provided to Eileen while she was in their care.

A Celebration of Life Services will be Celebrated Friday April 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., Hamburg. Burial will be private. A visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
