Edythe H. Bubbenmoyer, 87, of the George M. Rhodes Apartments, Franklin Street, died Oct. 17 in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, where she had resided one day.
She was taken to the Mifflin Center from St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Sept. 23.
Her husband, Clarence L. Bubbenmoyer, died in 1966.
Born in Blandon, she was a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Hannah R. (Altenderfer) Adams.
Bubbenmoyer was employed for several years as a clerk by the S&H Stamp Redemption Center, Muhlenberg Township.
She was a volunteer at Community General Hospital, Reading.
Bubbenmoyer was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Reading.
Surviving is a son, Phillip Giles, Laureldale.
Other survivors include a sister, Orpha (Adams) Kulasinski, Stony Creek Mills; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Walter Bubbenmoyer, in 1993.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Tuesday 9am until time of service. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown.
