Edwin Paul Steffe

Edwin Paul Steffe, Sr., 77, formerly of Rotunda, FL, died March 28, 2012, in his son's, Brecknock Township residence.

He was the husband of Doris Marie (Ream) Steffe. They were married on February 10, 1962.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Howard and Angeline (Varishore) Steffe.

He was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Edwin was employed as a machine operator by Carpenter Technology for 25 years, retiring in 1998.

He loved fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Pam, wife of Robert Ensig, Hamburg, Beverly A. Steffe-Kapelski, wife of Drew C. Kapelski, Bern Township, Edwin P. Steffe, Jr., Mohnton and April L., wife of Dean R. Klopp, Bethel; six siblings, Virginia, wife of Vincent Tedesco, Rotunda, FL, John, husband of June Steffe, Montrose Manor, Christine, wife of Kenneth Price, Sinking Spring, Ruth, wife of Robert Wloczewski, AZ and Karen, wife of Mike Shoppell, AZ; five grandchildren, Heather and Matthew Ensig; Jamie Mohler; and Mason and Devon Klopp also survive him.

Edwin was predeceased by three siblings, Janie, Norman and Terry.
