Edwin C. Stacy

Edwin C. Stacy, 82, of Reading, went home to be with the Lord (and his dear wife) on June 24, 2022. He was the widower of Patricia Ann Stacy, who passed away July 28, 2014. They married on July 17, 1977.

Born in Reading to the late Elise (Kelner), wife of the late James Boyer, Edwin graduated from Conrad Weiser High School.

Ed previously worked at Firestone of Pottstown and retired from Baldwin Brass.

He was a member of Spring Valley Church of God.

A very inventive man, Ed could fix anything and found ingenious solutions to problems around the house.

Ed is survived by his half-brother, Charles Schittler, and several nieces, and he shared a particular relationship with Candy Salade. He is also survived by Joyce Graves, who has cared for Ed since his wife's passing. In addition to his parents and his wife, Pat, he was predeceased by his half-sister, Delma Wogazkinicky.

Services for Ed will be celebrated on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, with committal to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ed's church, Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560.
