Edwin J. Scheiffley

Edwin J. Scheiffley, 80, passed away on March 14th, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading on September 5, 1943, he graduated from Reading High School. Edwin made the commitment to his country, and joined the Army. He served in the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran.

After retiring home, he traveled the country he loved so much as a truck driver. In his retirement, Edwin loved playing games like Texas hold 'em, and solitaire. He enjoyed a good movie, hanging out with his loved ones and friends, and going on walks with his beloved dog, Buddy.

Left to treasure Edwin's memory are his daughter, Lisa Sawyer, wife of Andrew; and his two grandchildren; Nova, and Luna.

A Celebration of Edwin's life will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 40 S. 4th St, Hamburg PA 19526.
