Edwin Ruiz

Edwin Ruiz, 51, of Reading, passed away on February 15, 2023, at Reading Hospital.

He was born in Philadelphia and was a son of Francisco Ruiz Velazquez and Gladys Garay Rolon.

Edwin was a truck driver for over 30 yrs, enjoying the opportunity of traveling every and any where across the 50 states. Edwin loved taking his dogs on his travels and was extremely passionate of his way of living.

Edwin is survived by his mother, Gladys Garay Rolon; his siblings, Sandy Ruiz, Carmen Ruiz and Teresa Ortiz; and multiple nieces, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Edwin was predeceased by his oldest brother, Francisco Ruiz JR on 01/27/2023; his sister, Evelyn Ruiz on 12/23/2015; and his father, Francisco Ruiz Velazquez 05/21/1998.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
