Edwin Aulenbach

Edwin Aulenbach, 84, of 2035 Mount Laurel Road, Alsace Township, died August 19th at 1:27 pm in ManorCare West Reading, where he had been since August 9th.

He was the widower of Corieene M. (Moatz) Aulenbach, who died April 7, 2004.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry and Laura (Wolfe) Aulenbach.

He attended Antietam High School.

Aulenbach worked for a number of years as a truck driver at Consolidated Freight.

He also was the owner/operator of Mount Laurel Orchards, Alsace Township for 40 years, until his retirement in 1984.

Aulenbach was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by a daughter, Yvonne C. (Brant) Moyer of Alsace Township.

Aulenbach is also survived by a brother, Franklin Aulenbach of Alsace Township.

Other survivors include four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two step great granddaughters.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Tuesday 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Shalter's Church Cemetery, Alsace Township.
