Edward "Eddie" Boyd Wolfe, 68, passed away November 2, 2012 in his Muhlenberg residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Gail E. (Dunkelberger) Wolfe whom he married July 16, 1965.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Boyd Edward and Carrie M. (Engle) Wolfe.
He was a 1963 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
Eddie and his wife owned and operated both Castle Dream Homes, Inc. and Castle Professional Builders, Inc., Muhlenberg. They most notably built the Muhlenberg Family Diner and Exeter Medical and Professional Building. He retired in 2002.
He was a member of the Daniel Boone Coin Club.
Eddie attended Grace (Alsace) Evangelical and Reformed Church, Reading.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Lorey Ann Wolfe, companion of Daniel L. Dierolf, Muhlenberg. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Claudia M., widow of Herbert F. Dunkelberger, Fleetwood; his two nieces: Debra Noll and Bonnie Emmerich; his nephew, Herbert F. Dunkelberger, III and his great nephews: Herbert F. Dunkelberger, IV and Wyatt Dunkelberger. He will be dearly missed by his fur-babies: Precious, Tigee, Baby Snowball, Mommy Snowball, Grandmom, Stormy and Halloween.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewings will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 12 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belleman's Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
