Edward "Ted" G. Walsky, 43, died November 19, 2009 in his Coatesville residence.

Born in Summit, NJ, he was a son of Lawrence and Priscilla (Kelting) Walsky, Wyomissing.

He was a 1984 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a 1989 graduate of University of Delaware.

Ted started with AT&T (Cingular) in 2005 as a Regional Vulnerability Manager within Network Security of the Northeast Regional Network Operations Center. In 2007, he accepted a position within the company as a Network Engineer IV. In that capacity, he was the system architect and lead programmer for a national E911 auxiliary network health monitoring and tools development platform.

He was an instructor at the Aikido Kokikai Dojo in Wilmington, DE where he earned the rank of the third dan black belt in Aikido as well as a brown belt in Korean style Karate. He also attained first kyu brown belt in Japanese style sword study.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his two brothers: Eric L., husband of Valerie Walsky, Massillon, OH and Andrew D., husband of Sheila Walsky, Givrins, Switzerland. Also surviving are two nephews and a niece.

A Memorial Service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Bausman Memorial U.C.C., Wyomissing. Burial will be private in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Contributions may be made to either American Heart Association, 25 Stevens Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609 or Bausman Memorial U.C.C. 1064 Penn Avenue Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J.
