Edward Soto

Edward Soto, 56, of Reading, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, March 7, 2021, in the care of Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband of 17 years of Claudia (Agosto) Torres. Born in Paterson, NJ, to Felipe Soto and Ana Velez-Soto, Edward was raised with a deep love for his Puerto Rican heritage.

Eddie had a heart-warming presence that just lit up a room. He was a joker and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed dancing, especially salsa, playing dominos, and cheering on the Cowboys.

He was employed by Reading Truck Body as a laser operator.

Eddie's memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Claudia; his children, Talisha Soto, Gisela Soto, Edward Soto Jr., Felicia Mercado, and Cameron Soto; and his very dear friends, Emmanuel, Pedro, Saul, and Myraida.
