Edward W. Ruskiewicz

Edward W. Ruskiewicz, 89, of Shillington, passed away October 20, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Adeline N. (Iezzi) Ruskiewicz.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Konstanty and Sophia (Choredinski) Ruskiewicz.

He was a U.S. Air Corps veteran serving during WWII.

Edward was employed as a foreman of the tool and dye making department for Baldwin Hardware, retiring in 1984.

He was a member of St John Baptist de LaSalle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Edward A. Ruskiewicz and Mary A. Ruskiewicz, both of Shillington.

He was predeceased by six siblings: Joseph, Russ, Michael, John, Mary Pietrowski and Carrie Sombers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St John Baptist de LaSalle R. C. Church, 420 Holland St., Shillington, PA 19607. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
