Edward H. Neiman

Edward H. "Bud" Neiman, Sr., 89, passed away in his Church Hill, TN, residence on Friday, January 24, 2025. He was the husband of almost 67 years to Virginia (Ulrich) Neiman.

Born in Reading to the late Harold Neiman Sr. and Lucy (Houser), Edward attended Reading High School. He met Virginia on a blind date in October 1955, and they married on November 9, 1957. He served his country honorably in the Army-Air Force during the Korean War.

He retired in 2000 after 15 years working as an electrician for the Phoenix Newspaper company. A beloved father, Edward had an especially close relationship with his son, with whom he and Virginia resided.

Left to treasure Edward's memory is his wife, Virginia; their children, Edward H. Neiman, Jr., of Church Hill, TN, and Cynthia A., widow of Edward L. Fisher, of Mertztown; grandchildren Edward R. Fisher, husband of Lauren, and Adam P. Fisher; great grandchildren, Aria and Oliver Fisher; and a beloved companion, Peppie. Edward is also survived by his brother, Harold Neiman Jr., husband of Rose; sister, Hazel Weidner; as well as nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Ulrich and Jeanette Hill, and brother Paul "Smiley" Neiman.

Funeral services for Edward will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611, with committal to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
