Edward G. Spuhler

Edward George Spuhler, 81, died September 19, 2009 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

He was born May 12, 1928 in Reading and was a son of the late George J. and Regina A. (Shire) Spuhler.

Edward was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

He was a 1949 graduate of Poly Technical Institute.

Edward was employed 30 years as a machinist with Textile Machine Works.

He is survived by a sister, Mary R., widow of Stanley J. Schrader of Kenhorst.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 8th and Franklin Streets, West Reading. A viewing will be held Thursday 8:30 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
