Edward John Frei

Edward John Frei, 64, of West Lawn, passed away on February 1, 2022, at Reading Hospital. Born in Reading to the late Stefan and Hildegard (Sattler) Frei, Ed worked largely in construction for many years.

A simple man, Ed enjoyed walking in the woods and going fishing. He enjoyed driving for driving's sake.

Left to treasure his memory are his daughter, Angela (Frei) Troop, wife of Thomas Troop, of Reading; his sister Maureen Frei of West Lawn and brother Stafan Frei Jr. (Debbie) of Sinking Spring; and his nephew, Christopher Frei.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Zimmerman.

A committal service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
