Edward L. Foley Sr., 74, Kenhorst, died of natural causes Oct. 12 at 11:15 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient one week.
He was the husband of Amalia (Osigian) Foley.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William D. Foley Sr. and Helen L. (Lebordt) Foley.
A printer for many years, Foley was last employed by Jim Rau Dog Shows Limited, West Reading, retiring in 1996. He was also employed as a movie projectionist, lastly by Fox Theaters, Pottstown.
He was a 1948 graduate of St. Peter's Catholic High School, Reading.
Foley was an Air Force veteran.
He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Foley was a life member of the Liberty Fire Company, Reading.
He is also survived by two sons, Edward L. Jr., Kenhorst, and Patrick K., Roy, Utah; and three daughters: Sharon K. (Foley) Blimline, Brecknock Township; Judy A. (Foley) London, Melbourne, Fla.; and Debra J. (Foley) Strawley, Carlisle, Cumberland County.
Other survivors include a brother, William D., Woodbridge, Va.; and a sister, Mary A. Foley, Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Jane T. Foley, in 1984.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 7 p.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
