Edward P. Fitzgerald

Edward P. Fitzgerald, 42, of Whitfield, died February 29, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

Born in New Haven, CT, he was the son of Lynda Klein and the late George E. Fitzgerald. He was the stepson of Richard Klein.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1983, where he played varsity football.

Edward loved to read and watch sports.

He was employed by Berks Packing at the time of his death. He was also a baker for Dunkin Donuts on State Hill Road. He served during Desert Storm as a helicopter crewman in the U.S. Navy.

Edward is survived by his brother, George A., husband of Sheila Fitzgerald, and their children, Christina and Matthew all of Denver, CO.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
