Edna T. Seghetti

Edna T. Seghetti, 84, formerly of Reading, died March 1 at 3:20 a.m. in Sacred Heart Manor, Philadelphia, where she had resided since August 2004.

Her husband Thomas J. Seghetti died July 7, 1991.

Born in Hyde Park, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Matilda (Husser) Hildebrand.

She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Surviving is a son, Thomas J. Seghetti, Jr., Baltimore, MD; and a daughter Christine M. Seghetti, R.S.M. (Sisters of Mercy), Philadelphia, PA.

Other survivors include four sisters; Catherine (Hildebrand) Bensinger, Wyomissing, PA; Leona Hildebrand, Boyertown, PA, Irene (Hildebrand) Evans, Reading, PA, and Marguerite (Hildebrand) Heffner of Temple, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Baptist de la Salle Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call Saturday from 8 to 9 a.m. in the funeral home.
