Edna M. "Dolly" Schultz, 74 of Centre Township died March 16th in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township where she had resided since January 1, 2011. She was the wife of John J. Schultz. "Dolly" was born in Leesport and was the daughter of the late Adam C. and Miriam (Spease) Stamm. She was a 1955 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Dolly worked as a cook in the Schuylkill Valley School District for 25 years retiring in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Tilden Township and active as a leader for Camp Fire Girls for 55 years in the Wap-o Group. In addition to her husband she is survived by 4 daughters: Teresa wife of Barry Mohler, Wernersville, Sharon wife of Keith Brown, Shartlesville, Jacqueline wife of William Shirey, Bernville, Josephine fiancée of Joshua Grim, Breinigsville, and a son, John Schultz, JR. husband of Rose, Hamburg, 6 grandchildren: Rebecca and Christine Mohler, Matthew and Michael Brown, and Alyssa and John Schultz III, 3 brothers: Warren and Dennis Stamm, Mohrsville and David Stamm, West Lawn, 3 sisters: Carol French, Florida, Gloria Stamm, Mohrsville and Mildred Swaverly, Reading. She was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Schultz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from St. Mary R.C. Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg. A viewing will be held in the church from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamburg.
