Edna S. Martin

Edna S. (Himmelreich) Zwoyer Martin, 90, formerly of Fleetwood and Wyomissing, died May 24, 2007 at 10:50 pm in the Kutztown Manor, where she had been a patient since August.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold A. Zwoyer, who died in 1972 and by her second husband John H. Martin, who died in 2001.

Born January 26, 1917 in Oley, PA., she was a daughter of the late Jacob H. and Sallie Annie (Troxel) Himmelreich.

She was employed a number of years with AT&T, Western Division, Muhlenberg Township.

Edna was a former flag bearer for the East Penn Chapter #336, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Jayne Carpenter and Louise Martin, both of Exeter Township.

Other survivors include two step-grandsons and step-great grandchildren.

Edna is also survived by a sister, Sallie A. wife of Gordon R. Yeich of Richmond Township.

She is also survived by one niece and six nephews.

Services will be Friday at 11 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale with the Rev. John Boyce officiating.
