Edna M. Henne

Edna May (Dunkelberger) Henne, 92 formerly of Temple, died December 25, 2010 at The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the widow of William A. Henne who died August 20, 1993.

Born August 11, 1918 in Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Matilda E. (Brossman) Dunkelberger.

Edna was a very active member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She enjoyed quilting.

Surviving are two sons William E., husband of Nancy L. (MacLatchie) Henne of Dushore, PA and Douglas L., husband of Madeline D. (Dilkus) Henne of Montville, NJ.

Edna had five step-sisters, Cora Swavely, Clara Brossman, Carrie Lash, Mabel Heilman and Annie Strausser; a half sister, Elsie Berger; two step brothers, Earl and Irvin Dunkelberger and two half brothers, Robert and Earl Katzaman.

Also surviving are four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Edna was predeceased by a stillborn son, Richard Henne.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1009 Elizabeth Avenue, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Bern Church Cemetery, Bern Township.
