Edna Beulah (Christman) Bieber, 97, of Richmond Township, died of natural causes February 13th at 4:45am in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading, where she had been since January 11th.
She was the widow of John Peter Bieber, who died December 4, 1963.
Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Mary E. (Wiltrout) Christman.
She and her late husband operated their Richmond Township family farm for 36 years, until 1964.
Bieber was later employed 12 years by Giorgio Foods, Blandon, retiring in 1980.
She is survived by a son, Dr. John W. Bieber of Claymont, Del and two daughters, Betty J. (Bieber) Leibelsperger and Shirley M. (Bieber) Dietrich both of Fleetwood.
Other survivors include two sisters, Grace (Christman) Kistler of Kutztown and Mamie (Christman) Kistler of Topton.
There are also 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Lou Bieber, who died in 1931.
Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Richmond Township.
