Edmund M. Bzdyk

Edmund M. Bzdyk, 80 of Perry Township died in the Orwigsburg Center on April 26, 2014. He was the husband of Norma J. (Gillen) Bzdyk to whom he was married to for 58 years. Edmund was born in Jamaica, NY. and was the son of the late Maximilian and Regina (Sikorski) Bzdyk. He was a 1951 graduate of Hempstead High School and attended Hofstra University for 3 years. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was in charge of the Computer Systems for Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage, NY. for 40 years. Edmund was a member of Belleman's Church, Mohrsville where he was also secretary for 3 years. He was a member of the Masons in New York and various organizations in New York and Milledgeville, Georgia. In addition to his wife, Edmund is survived by four sons: Kurt R. husband of Alena Bzdyk, Babylon, NY, Phillip husband of Kerry Bzdyk, Round Hill, Virginia, Raymond Bzdyk, Perry Township and Karl husband of Lenore Bzdyk of Bay Shore, NY. and 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to Belleman's Church Endowment Fund, 3420 Belleman's Church Road, Mohrsville, PA. 19541 or Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA. 17011.
