Edmund E. Albrecht, 77, of Fairway Road, Flying Hills, Cumru Township, died of natural causes May 31 in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 24.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Antoni and Mary (Murawezyunski) Albrecht.
Albrecht was employed for 43 years as a machine operator by Reading Tube Corp., retiring in 1988.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two sons, Edward W., Shoemakersville, and Bruce L. Brecknock Township.
Other survivors include two brothers, John, Reading, and Anthony, Boyertown; and two sisters, Anna (Albrecht) Schnable, Kenhorst, and Amelia (Albrecht) Pietrantonio, Reading.
There are also four grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Yocum's Cemetery, Cumru Township.
